Get involved – Propose a Parallel Session or Satellite Event

INGSA2020 offers several ways for you or your organisation to get involved!

1. Submit an abstract for the Research Day
For the first time INGSA2020 will contain a dedicated academic research day. We will be looking for abstracts at the cutting edge of research at the science/society/policy interfaces. More information will be available when the Call for Abstracts opens in January 2020  (Make sure you’ve joined the INGSA network to receive an announcement when the Call opens – www.ingsa.org/join)

2. Submit a proposal for the Exploratorium
As part of the main conference days INGSA is curating a dedicated stream of dynamic and interactive parallel sessions – dubbed the ‘Exploratorium’. These are opportunities to propose a 1.5 hour parallel session that is engaging, dynamic and interactive. From the proposals we will pick the most interesting session ideas and will work with you to help execute your session. These sessions can be limited in participants if necessary. To apply: download the INGSA Exploratorium EOI template and return to g.mills@ingsa.org before the 31st January 2020.

3. Submit a proposal for a Satellite Event at INGSA2020
INGSA is welcoming proposals from individuals or organisations for satellite events or workshops in the margins of the INGSA2020 conference. These can be any length or be of any size. To apply: download the INGSA Satellite EOI template and return to g.mills@ingsa.org before the 31st January 2020.

If you have any questions about any of this, or would like to discuss ideas, please get in contact with INGSA, Programme Officer, g.mills@ingsa.org to discuss.
